Two New Flavors!

Welcome to our blog!

We’ve been refining recipes, dialing in our process, and dreaming up flavors that feel a little bolder, a little moodier, and a even more BVJ. And today, I finally get to introduce the first two new releases for this year!

Blood Orange Noir

This one has been in the works for months — and honestly, it became a bit of an obsession. Blood oranges are quite tart, so to balance that vivid, ruby brightness, we’ve layered in blackberries which deepens the flavor into something almost wine‑like. Add vanilla and just a whisper of saffron, and suddenly the whole thing turns into a moody, aromatic, citrus‑meets‑sunset kind of jam.

It’s bold. It’s elegant. It’s the kind of flavor that makes you pause for a second after the first spoonful. I can’t wait for you to try it on a cheese board or swirl it into yogurt on a slow morning.

Blueberry Garnet

If Blood Orange Noir is the dramatic one, Blueberry Garnet is the jewel‑toned, fruit‑forward counterpart. Blueberries do the heavy lifting here - deep, rich, and familiar, but the pomegranate adds this bright, tart lift that keeps everything lively and helps to balance the sweetness of the blueberries. A touch of candied ginger brings sparkle, and vanilla smooths it all into a polished finish.

It’s vibrant without being loud, comforting without being simple. I’ve been putting it on toast, pairing it with aged cheddar, and honestly just eating it off the spoon.

What’s Next

This is just the beginning. More flavors are coming, more stories from the kitchen, more behind‑the‑scenes of what it takes to run a small jammery in the Central Oregon. If you’re here reading this, thank you - truly. Your support lets me keep creating, experimenting, and sharing the flavors I love most.

Here’s to the next chapter. And here’s to jam that tastes like a place, a season, and perhaps, evokes a memory.
